Fun Time at Touch A Truck!

Earlier this week, we had a pink eye scare. Thankfully, it only turned out to be an eye infection. We went to the doctor, and they prescribed us an ointment to put on Kennedy's eyes. Evidently, she could be developing allergies from being outside, and when she was rubbing her eyes, it caused an infection. She didn't seem to think it was a big deal, but her little eyes got all gooped up. She does not like it when we applied the medicine.
Mimi came to town on Thursday for a visit. We went to the Razorback baseball game on Thursday night, but Kennedy was a little restless. We didn't get to stay very long. Kennedy and Mimi spent the day together on Friday. She loves it when Mimi comes to town because she gets spoiled rotten. They played all day and went for stroller rides around the neighborhood. Saturday was the most eventful part of the weekend. We woke up early for our Little Gym class, and then headed to the Pinnacle Promenade for the Junior League of NWA Touch A Truck Event. Kids of all ages can climb, discover and explore vehicles of all types including construction vehicles, emergency vehicles, motorcycles and big rigs. Kids can also build items with the Home Depot crew or talk with the Chick-fil-a Cow and Strike with the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. Kennedy was terrified of Strike! Proceeds from this event helps fund various projects sponsored by the Junior League of Northwest Arkansas. We always want to support the organizations for which we are involved. Luckily, the rain held off on the day of the event, and the turn out was a huge success.
