Back to the Doctor Today for James

James headed back to the doctor today for his weekly visit. His white blood cell count was 3,070. Everything looks good, and his platelets are going up. He is getting close to the normal ranges, and he is not going to have a blood transfusion this week. He is gaining some of his weight back that he lost during his stay in the ICU at Baptist Hospital. Our family is doing their best to fatten him up. Since we are having Kennedy's first birthday party in Little Rock instead of Rogers, maybe some birthday cake will help put some more meat (or fat) on his bones. He has to go back to the doctor's office for some lab work on Thursday, but he will not be seeing a doctor. Kennedy can't wait to see her Uncle James this weekend! Maybe, we will get a few pictures of the two of them together to post on the blog.
