Today was Kennedy's 1st birthday. Her Uncle Tony came over to dinner, and our Raymer cousins came over to visit. Even though Kennedy's birthday party will be on Saturday in Little Rock, we still had to have a small celebration at home in Rogers. We got her a cupcake critter puppy to celebrate. However, it did not go as planned. Evidently during dinner, some food went down wrong, and she starting gagging and spitting up. She became very upset and would have nothing to do with the cake. Oh well! Maybe on Saturday, she will be more interested in the big birthday cake. However, her cousins Sasha and Jacy were excited to take home the cupcake critter. Earlier this week, we gave her a early birthday present which was her very own swing for the backyard. We no longer have to walk down the street to the park to swing. She loves it! Tonight was just a relaxing evening at the house with some of our family. We have to save up our energy for the real birthday party this weekend. Also, tomorrow we head to the doctor for Kennedy's 12 month wellness checkup.
