James Health Update

James went back to the doctor on Monday. His white blood cell count is now at 5,200. We are thrilled. However, his red blood platelets are low. His system is a little off due to the Gleveec medicine that he has been taking. He is going to physical therapy about three times a week, and he is improving every day. Hopefully, he will not have to use the walker much longer. With his blood platelets being low, they are going to do some lab work on Thursday. He will probably have to be admitted to the hospital for the day in order to perform a blood transfusion. The doctors have said that he is doing well on the chemo medicine. More updates to come!
